2020

Steady growth the last years has provided a solid foundation for further development together with our Distributors

2018

NEO Monitors introduced the World’s First IN-SITU Hydrogen Analyzers

LaserGas™ iQ2 Vulcan was launched as a one flange combustion monitor.

2017

NEO Monitors was acquired by the Nederman Group
The Nederman Group is a world-leading supplier and developer of products and solutions within the environmental technology sector. They filter, clean and recycle in demanding industrial environments. Clean air is a cornerstone for sustainable production and Nederman’s products and solutions improve production efficiency, reduce environmental impact and protect employees from harmful dust, smoke and fumes.

2015

LaserGas™ iQ2 was released as a complete combustion monitor. The first dual laser multi-gas instrument.

2014

LaserGas™ Q was released  in order to increase the product range in the Mid-infrared range.

2009

NEO Monitors launched a new generation analyzers with focus on safety application. LaserGas™ III was developed to meet requirements and needs in the oil and gas market.

2004

LaserGas™ II Compact, LaserGas™ II Open Path and LaserDust™ was released.

2003

NEO Monitors was established as a sales, service and manufacturing company for gas and dust analyzers

The LaserGas™ II Single Path was introduced and has turned out be stable and reliable, but also a flexible platform. Since then it has evolved into a variety of versions. The LaserGas™ II Multipass was launched the same year, as an extractive solution.

1996

The first LaserGas™ I was sold and installed for measuring the levels of gases “in-situ”. This means that gases were analyzed directly in the process stream without extracting and conditioning gas samples from the process

1990

NEO entered into the exciting world of Gas Spectroscopy and became one of the leading suppliers of Gas Analyzers based on Tunable Diode Laser Spectroscopy (TDLS).

1985

Norsk Elektro Optikk (NEO) was founded based on research and innovation.
Tycho Jæger brought his research into NEO, the first company based on electro optics in Norway. During his research at FFI (Norwegian Defence Research Establishment) Jæger made some crucial findings within electro optics and saw a huge potential for new measurement techniques based on electro optics in a fast growing oil and gas market in Norway

1962

Tycho Jæger generated the first laser light in Norway. When the first working laser was reported in 1960, it was described as “a solution looking for a problem“. Jæger saw it rather as a solution solving a problem. This was the start of NEO (Norsk Elektro Optikk).
