Product Certifications

LaserGas™ II

Our huge ranges of LaserGas™ II products are available in several models with numerous approvals.
We have solutions for use in explosive atmospheres Zone 1 and Zone 2. Our products have both European and North American approvals along with several national approvals.
Our cross-stack models are QAL1-certified for measuring NH3, HCl, HF and H2O.

A place in which an explosive atmosphere is likely to occur in normal operation occasionally. Ex p solution available for applications in Zone 1.
A place in which an explosive atmosphere is not likely to occur in normal operation, but if it does only occur for short periods. Ex n solution available for applications in Zone 2.
Class I: A location where there is a danger of explosion due to the presence of a flammable gas or vapor. Division 2: A location where an explosive mixture of gas, vapor, dust, fibers or flyings may exist under abnormal conditions, such as the accidental rupture of a storage vessel, or container, or the failure of a ventilation system. Our LaserGasTM II monitors are available with Class I/Div 2-certification for Canada and USA
Our lasers are certified according to EN 60079-28 and are emitting inherently safe optical radiation. O2-lasers are suitable for Zone 0, all others for Zone 1.
Tested and certified equipment for continuous emission and ambient air monitoring is the basis of an optimal pollution control. According to EN 14181 only suitability tested measuring and data acquisition systems are admitted for continuous measurement and monitoring on governmental decree. Our LaserGas II Cross-stack monitors are tested and certified by the German TÜV institute.

LaserGas™ III

Our LaserGas™ III was developed for use in Safety applications. It is designed in accordance with IEC61508 and IEC61511, and is suitable for use in SIL2-applications.

The LaserGas™ III is certified Ex d for use in explosive atmospheres, and is available with ATEX, IECEx and CSA/US-certifications.

The objective of the IECEx System is to facilitate international trade in equipment and services for use in explosive atmospheres, while maintaining the required level of safety. Our LaserGas III is certified for use in Zone 1 according to the IECEx scheme.

LaserDust™

Our LaserDust™ dustmonitors have been used with great success for more than 20 years worldwide for measuring low, medium and high dust concentrations. Our range of dustmonitors can be used on any kind of process pipe, stack or open path-configuration with a measuring path up to 15 meters.

LaserGas™  iQ2

LaserGas™ iQ2 is the first combustion analyzer to measure up to four gases (O2, CO, CH4, H2O) and temperature simultanously. The cutting-edge design and ground-breaking functionality, ensures that the instrument delivers unmatched reliability and durability. By providing an optional single flange solution, installation cost can be significantly reduced. Customers may replace existing analyzers where explosion risks or high maintenance issues are a huge concern.
